EmTec offers a range of biological products with a variety of environmental and agricultural applications. The organisms found in the range of EmTec branded products are naturally occurring and non-pathogenic. They have been classified as BioSafety Level 1 organisms, the safest rating. The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) has approved these organisms and products for use in USDA federally inspected facilities, including food production plants. Every production batch is certified to be Salmonella free.

Agriculture
EmTec Growth Promoter (EmTec GP) is an all-natural probiotic that is scientifically formulated to restore soil productivity, promote plant growth and increase crop yields. EmTec GP is a blend of carefully selected, laboratory grown, naturally occurring beneficial bacillus bacteria and trichoderma fungi known to increase nutrient availability, enhances root mass development and promote vigorous plant growth.
Bioremediation
- EmTec Hydrocarbon Treatment (EmTec HC) is a live blend of natural bacteria specifically chosen for their ability to metabolize hydrocarbons and treat environmental contamination. EmTec HC degrades a wide range of hydrocarbon compounds including: crude oil, gasoline, diesel and jet fuels, motor oil, lubricating oil, heating oil and paraffin.
Wastewater
- EmTec WP is a live blend of natural bacteria specifically chosen for their ability to accelerate and enhance the treatment of domestic and industrial wastewater and reduce the accumulation of sludge. Regular use of EmTec WP increases a system’s capacity to degrade a wide range of wastes, resulting in greater efficiency, fewer problems and higher quality effluent.
