Problem

Lakes, ponds and lagoons at golf courses, residential and commercial developments, and in industrial areas have unique environmental problems that affect their water quality and aesthetic characteristics.  Nutrient runoff from fertilizers, decaying plant materials, and sewage or septic tank releases can accumulate in these waters causing thick green algal blooms and foul odors.

Solution

EmTec WP contains a safe and natural blend of bacteria that quickly and efficiently consume excess nutrients and improve the aesthetic characteristics of surface water features.  As the bacteria in EmTec WP consume the excess nutrients they deprive algae of the nutrients they need to form and sustain algal blooms.  The use of EmTec WP improves water quality, controls algal blooms and reduces odors.

Formulation EmTec WP comes as a set of two 220-mL bottles of liquid concentrate.  The dosing strategy will depend on site-specific issues and objectives, but one set of EmTec WP will typically treat over 20,000 cubic meters of water.
